Let's Just Makeup--Let's Be Healthy


National Nutrition Month


The month of March is dedicated to focusing on healthier 

eating and greater living. The U.S. Department of 

Agriculture and Department of Health and Human Services 

urges us to follow the Dietary Guidelines for Americans that 

reflects:


  • Balancing proper caloric intake with physical activity
  • Increasing consumption of vegetables, fruit, whole grains, fat-free and low-fat dairy products, and seafood
  • Lowering intake of sodium, saturated and trans fats, added sugars, and refined grains
