School is definitely back in session and learning is underway. As the days go by and the work load piles up so does the weight of the backpack and purses we carry. A special day has been set aside nationally so that we can all take a moment to clean out our bags and lighten our loads.
Do not overlook the back and shoulder pain that you may feel from time to time when carrying your bags. You may actually be causing slight damage to your body and not even realize it. Be sure to check out the information the American Occupational Therapy Association has to offer.
